How to Play Blokus?

16 minutes read

Blokus is a board game that can be played by 2-4 players. The objective of the game is to place as many of your pieces on the board as possible while blocking your opponents from doing the same. Each player starts with a set of 21 different shaped pieces in their chosen color.

Players take turns placing one of their pieces on the board, with each piece touching at least one other piece of the same color at its corners. However, pieces of the same color cannot touch along their edges. The game continues until no more pieces can be placed on the board.

The player with the fewest remaining pieces wins the game. It is important to strategize your moves to not only place as many pieces on the board as possible but also to block your opponents and limit their options for placement. Blokus is a fun and challenging game that requires spatial awareness and strategic thinking to come out on top.

  1. Start by analyzing the board and identifying potential areas of expansion. Look for opportunities to block your opponents while maximizing your own territory.
